18 months to 3 years
WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT
Little Explorers is a program designed to help “grow” the brains of toddlers – ages 18 months to 3 years. Research shows that sensorimotor and social/emotional development is the building blocks to cognition and learning. The very best way to develop young children's brain connections is to give children what they need: an environment that is interesting to explore, safe, and filled with people who will respond to their social and emotional needs.
Little Explorers is a small group that incorporates fun, engaging sensorimotor activities while focusing on process based learning and language development. Unique to this program is the parent involvement and education on how to help their own “little explorer” to develop and grow in life outside of the group.
Little Explorers will be taught exclusively by Child Success Center Occupational and/or Speech Therapists with the knowledge to teach parents and enrich children's development in the areas of social-emotional, sensorimotor, and language development.
